Jo Hunter Selected for Hockey's U21 European Championships 
National Performance Centre (NPC) athlete Jo Hunter has been selected to as part of the England squad to play against Germany before heading to France to compete in the Hockey's European Championships.
As part of the Nottingham Trent University National Performance Centre Jo recieves her strength and conditioning support from Sport981. Congratulations Jo and good luck for the tournament.

Jack Oliver Selected to Represent Great Britian
Congratulations to Jack Oliver who has been selected to represent Great Britian at the Commonwealth Games in Weightlifting.
Jack's training is supported by the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme and he receives his strength and conditioning at the Nottingham Trent University TASS Hub from Sport981.

Top Honours for Nottingham Trent University athletes
The University's growing reputation for athletic excellence has been boosted further this year with some amazing achievements on both the national and international stage.
Sport981 work in partnership with NTU to provide performance support to athletes on the TASS programme and to the university's Platinum Squads.

Talented athletes identified by Nottinghamshire County Council are now being offered exclusive support packages from Sport981.Over 120 individuals competing at regional to international level have been identified through the Rising Stars and Shining Stars programme.
Sport981 are looking forward to supporting Nottinghamshire's athletes to maximise their potential.

12 New Apprentice Strength and Conditioning Coaches
Sport have selected 12 candidates to join our Instructor Development Course 2010 run in partnership with Nottingham Trent University.
The candidates will be part of a year long programme through which they will gain advanced qualifications through our partnership with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and complete their UKSCA Accreditation. The apprentice strength and conditioning coaches will also gain hands on experience delivering performance training to squads and individuals at NTU.

Commonwealth Games 2010
Sport981 would like to wish Jess Sylvester (Swimming) and Lucy O'Sullivan (Archery) all the best for their competitions at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Dehli. Lucy and Jess are both trained at Nottingham Trent University TASS Hub by Sport981 strength and conditioning coach Natalie Shaw.

Strength and Conditioning Internship with Education Support
Mytennis in partnership with Sport981 are inviting applications for a new Tennis Specific Instructor Development Course.
Successful candidates will train to become a strength and conditioning coach at the Tennis International High Performance Centre in Loughborugh gaining hands on experience with some of the best junior players in the country. The programme also includes extensive education support including certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the UK Strength and Conditioning Association.

Boots Hockey Club Secure Funding to Partner with Sport981
Boots Hockey Club have been successful in gaining funding from Sport England enabling them to implement one of Sport981's strength and conditioning packages designed specifically for grassroots and amateur sports clubs.
Sport981 are looking forward to providing elite level performance training to players from the Mens and Womens teams and are excited about forming a new partnership with a successful local club.
